What is the trick to shooting FTs in 2k3? When playing online the other guys shoot the ball right away. For me it takes forever to get those arrows lined up and then I still usually miss.

you can have free throw assist when playing online. I think what they have is one of those controllers that allow you to save a command, thus making it easier to use it. Not sure but I think the Mad Catz controllers have this option.Comment

I find shooting free throws to be very easy. At least on the Xbox. The PS2 on the other hand is much harder, but once you get accustomed to it, it's not that bad.Comment

before the arrows appear, if you hold both sticks in a little, then when the arrows appear they will be perfectly on the basket, then you press r1 to shoot. hope this helps.

Sometimes, the arrows stutter, and then one dissapears, and its one only and its stuck, and you spend all the time in the world trying to correct it so its back to two and setting it up. Maybe its my controller or maybe its the game....I have the GC version.Comment
