need a little help..

hey guys ive had nba2k3 and really did like it but then i went for the more arcadey fun Live2003. I think i might get Nba2k3 back and get the online adapter for the roster updates and playing online my questions are how good are the updates is Yao Ming on it? and Overall is it worth it to trade Live in and get NBA2k3 back, thanks guys..

No, plan and simple, online is fun at times, but more frustrating than anything else. It is NOT worth your money to get an adapter just for this game.

The updates are ok. They're free, so I can;'t complain much.

I say, if you still enjoy Live keep it. But nba2k3 online is not worth 40 bucks.

lol, wally. Online's no fun for me either b/c i can't even play online yet.

How can you say online's no fun at all when about 1/4 if that many of the people that will be online are on now? Trust me, from previous experience, online is worth it.

          Re: need a little help..

I play online, and except for the occasional jerk that likes to pause, it's pretty fun. I rarely get to play someone who plays the game like it should be played though. Meaning running plays, setting screens, picks, rolls, taking good clean shots when given the chance. Instead, what I mostly see are people just trying to get to the bucket all the time. Dunk, dunk, dunk. Just trading points back and forth. Sometimes it gets pretty fun and competitive, especially close games near the end.

Overall, online is a fun experience, and if you already have an adapter, then do it. I bought the adapter just for this game, but I expect to be using it for future games as well.

The roster updates are pretty cool. It beats doing everything yourself. Of course it isn't as complete as I would like, but it's good enough. Yao Ming is in it. I haven't actually played against/with him yet, so I can't tell you much. He is rated at 70 though, and looking at stats, he seems to be doing pretty good (how far from the truth is that).

          Anwyays, I hope this helped.
