    Live: HELP with DEFENSE

Geez...can someone give me some tips on playing defense vs the computer in Live (All-Star difficulty)???

I understand that the nature of the game is fast-paced, fastbreak, shootouts.......but there has to be a way to contain the computer offense.

I shoot an amazing 62%.....but my opponents shoot like 65%. It's always a tight, back-n-forth game.....but at some point in the game, the computer goes on a spurt and then it's over. Once the computer gets a good lead, it's all over.

Any advice??? Or am I seeking the wrong kind of gameplay from NBA Live???

Playing D in Live has been fair for me since I got it. I think one important thing is to stick to your defender all the time. I like playing full court press and a little bit of mam to man. One good usage is to put your defender's hands in the air to contend the shot. I like that new aspect, because it give you a better fell when you play defense.

yeah Gizmo...I always stick to my man. But like last game, Derek Fisher was hitting 3's right in my face and lit me up for 29 points!!! DFish is good, but he ain't a dominant player! Sh!t, I didn't even mention Shaq and Kobe yet -- Kobe had 40, and Shaq went 14-14 from the the field! WTF!!!

I'll give your tips a try Gizmo. I'll still probably end up exchanging it for Splinter Cell.....I'm content sticking with the original NBA Live 95, still the BEST BBALL GAME EVER!!!
