Why Did Earl Watson Pick Denver?

They already have 2 point guards in Andre Miller & Earl Boykins. Are they going to move Miller to the 2 spot?

Boykins is not going anywhere. He is a fan favorite. Would they deal Andre Miller?

I'm pretty sure they signed him for playoff defense. All the top teams in the West have at least one quick slashing guard and Andre and Boykins can't stop penetration - they play defense with the rhythm method. Watson is quick enough laterally to stop the move to the paint. If $6 million gets Denver out of the first round, then Kiki spent his money well.

I think Miller makes between 7-8 million next year.

I dont think a trade is one the way NOW, but if things dont work out and there is a need on the team, Denver has a lot of inexpensive, young players to through into a trade.
