    LBJ on Oprah

I was channel surfing and saw LBJ on Oprah.

Nothing new came out of it but Oprah briefly talked to his GF and Mom.

Basically LBJ grew up with only one parent and they weren't exactly wealthy. Is it just me or do a lot of NBA players grow up with a single parent/lower class/ghetto?

He said he bought his mom a new car. He came across as a very mature young man.

1 of the reasons why the age limit rule was protested so much...as a young black man born into poverty/unwealthy environment commin outa highschool is a way he can better support his family, if hes good enuff. Just the jist of it

In every interview i've seen of LeBron he always comes across as a well adjusted, mature young man and hasn't seemed to let the stardom go to his head. Good to see...

but yeah, Lebron is a one of a kind. You have NBDLers with a bigger head than him.

Most everyone in the hood has only one parent but most have step parents.

I saw the episode too and Lebron almost looks older than his MOM. His girlfriend looks 16 also especially when she speaks she has a very young voice.

Lebron looked like a little man when he was 10 years old, the kid actually had muscles and a mans face.

Why am I not surprised that you were watching Oprah?

And Lebron is already like 40 years old, mentally and physically. He reminds me of Robin Williams in the movie "Jack". LBJ went through like a time warp, where he's just ahead of everyone his age.
