I've been waiting for the updates so I can start my "Franchise". I have tried every way possible since 11/15 to get a response from Sega, VC, or anyone about this issue...yesterday I finally got an answer (I think)...
The "Roster-Updates" should be available by the end of this week. I finally got an e-mail reply from Sega over this issue. The rep. from Sega stated in the reply that the "Roster-Updates" are there and have been there, but that X-Box LIVE has not made them available, and to call XBL. So I call XBL tech. support yesterday and after being handed off to 3 different reps. I finally received an answer.
XBL rep. said that they are configuring the updates so the updates will not cause any problems with the game. The rep said the updates should be available at the end of the week, or at the latest, sometime next week.
I remember reading on many message-boards that the same updates for the PS2 version of NBA2K3 caused some gamers to experience problems with game-play after downloading the rosters. So my guess is MS doesn't want this to happen on their system, so they are working on them...
Hopefully what I was told was true...and if it is, then I don't have a problem with MS taking their time to get the updates out. But at the same time, Sega or MS should have posted this on one of their sites, or leaked this info. out...because I have seen many posts on message-boards about this (the Sega rep. wrote and the XBL reps. all said they have been bombarded with the same question).
