I like the Kings sooooo much, but they have no heart.

So you watched the game? They sucked that much? I guess Chris Webber leaving really did hurt them a lot.

I didnt see the game, but it's been that way since the middle of last season. It was especially evident in the playoffs last year.

For some reason, I like this Suns team much better than last year. Nash hasn't been....oh my goodness Terry just did a sweet move. I gotta try that. I like the ball rotation a bit. I think they're possibly going to be more solid this year compared to last year. Wonder what it looks like a few weeks from now. They are very good on the defensive end ironically. Raja is better on defensive end than I thought.

The Kings really did sink fast last year. Definitely hope they come back or at least acquire someone that will bring them some fire to get them started again....

two things that stnad out for me

1. Suns--- look way better then last year their D better step up tonight


2. Kings--- sinking last year must have hurt them tonight they will rebound

Man.. it's day 1. The Kings couldn't find their stroke (they didn't have their morning shoot around) and basically got caught off guard by the exceptional play of the Hornets. The real problem lies on the bench, with Bobby Jackson (who they should have kept) gone... they had absolutely no one to give their second team a spark. That unit got outplayed badly and it went downhill from there.

Defense has been excellent! Rebounding, getting into people's faces, taking charges. Kurt Thomas' presence has just been huge. We're deflecting passes, getting into passing lanes, forcing turnovers....I love it.

Offense is another issue, though. Our offense hasnt been that nice, in my eyes. Jones and Marion have struggled, although we're doing REALLY well at getting second chances. Offensive rebounding has been a huge problem for this team over the years and I hope we can get better at it. Nash is kicking ***, as usual (is there any doubt that he's MVP material?!) and Raja Bell is just playing awesome.

I was impressed with the play of Barbosa and Diaw too. Diaw has gotta work on the jumper, but Barbosa (although he made a couple of bonehead mistakes we're used to by him) seemed to play pretty well. Him and Boris have to come in and play well when Nash is out of the game.

Oh, and is there any question as to how valuable Jimmy J is to this team? Man, I hope we dont let go of him anytime soon. The man is HUGE.

I know ya'll saw that sweet play Nash did where he spun off Terry (I think) and took it straight to the hole. Holy crap. I mean, what can I say. I personally didn't like that boy, but he's fitting so much better now. Defense is looking pretty freaking great too. Oh, the Spurs are going surprise me if they get past the Suns. Even the Mavs look better. They're still young and need more sense on the court, but they look like a contender too.

On a side note, if the Kings get spanked by a "new" team like that, they need to honestly make some big moves. Oh my goodness. Not Christie, no Webber, no Jackson, no Divac, no chance this season. They sure did take a hit.

It's only one game, dude. It could foreshadow their season, or it could just be an abberation. Last year, they got blown out by NO one night early in the season...they still made the playoffs.

They had Bobby Jackson, Doug Christie, and Chris Webber also. Not saying they won't make the playoffs but they sure should have done it tonight.

I went to the Hornets game tonight. I was shocked by two things: First, they killed the Kings. Second, the fans were rabid. I really didn't expect that, but I guess I should have. OKC craves pro sports.

HOLY CRAP!! THis game is so sweet right now. I mean, Dallas freaking came back. This is so crazy. I hope they do go OT. Kind of anyway. Freaking Dirk is a killer like no other. Popping it like crazy in those last minutes. Definitely won't be complaining if I see stuff like that in my video games from now on. Some amazing stuff tonight. This is goign to be the greatest season....
