Yup, I agree with this. Too many times people try to just make up something out of nothing to get people "angry". The comment pertaining to Kobe/MJ was extremely harmless anyway.

Regardless, we shouldn't turn this thread into something that it's not.

I didn't say what I said to get people angry. I said it because it's true.

Someone compares Kobe to Jordan...guess what, people will have a problem with that. So they respond...but the Kobe people and Laker fans want to jump on those that they "think" hate Kobe. I don't hate Kobe. KDRE doesn't hate Kobe. Alot of people on here don't hate Kobe. But when the Kobe faction or Lkaer faction come out and spew their propaganda, they have to accept that not everyone is on their side.


So now that we got that done with and out of the way....let us focus on the games tonight...PLEASE.

The only thing that irritated me in that last thread was when people come out and automatically assume that the "Kobe homers and butt squeezers" are making irrational comparisons to Jordan, when not a single Laker fan said it.

Yeah but noa is no where near a Kobe fan. In fact I think he's a hardcore T-Mac fan, I remember some fun conversations that we were involved in.

Back to the freakin topic. I'm really excited for this Lakers vs. Suns game. A couple things I'm looking forward to:

1) Kobe's offensive game against Marion's defense. Marion is one of the few players in the league who is quick enough to elevate with Kobe on his jumper.

2) Odom's ability to bounce back after his bad shooting night. Also it will be interesting to see if he takes Marion into the post early into the game to wear him down so when Marion does switch onto Kobe late in the game, Marion would be stuck with some foul trouble.

3) Smush Parker's defense against Steve Nash. If Smush can keep the point difference between him and Nash to under 5.

me ...i must have over 5 pairs of sneakers that are purple and yellow. 1/4 of my wardrobe is laker apparel . i always gotta go with team gear ....anyways. should be another close game. i think they can pull it off though.

Funny, when they started making these trades, I said I couldn't see how they could beat the Pistons. Still can't.

They're such a mish-mosh team. Riley just went haywire in the summer and Van Gundy may take the fall for it.

Again, it's early. But like you said, no way in hell would I ever want Antoine on my team. EVER.

And he can take his little brother Jason Williams with him too.

Hey Doug, it was a punch, not elbow.

EDIT: Saw it again. Elbow. Sorta like what Anthony Peeler did to KG. But it was a wicked blow.
