    NOK??

    Why are the Hornets abbreviated as "NOK" why not NOH...or for this season "OkC" or "OkH"

          it's also annoying. I accept that the team has to play somewhere else this year, but not even the Saints have started calling themselves the New Orleans/San Antonio Saints. Totally classless for them to rip the "New Orleans" off the jersey as well.

                  It's the dumbest thing I have ever seen. I don't know why anybody would agree to doing that.

                      i mean even the bears when they had to play up in champagene,ill @ the Illi campus for a year didnt change their name.

                      nor did the seahawks when they were forced to play at the UW campus stadium.

                      nor did the seattle supersonics when they played some home games in tacoma, washington in 1994-95.

                      the list goes on and on... all this over repairs and new renovations. and to have this team ripped from this city over this trajedy is just totally classless and BS imo

                          They only took "New Orleans" off of the home jersey. The teal away jersey will still have it on there, as will the yellow alternate jersey.

                                  Yeah, that abbreviation threw me off at first too.

                                      Either call them the Oklahoma Hornets or New Orleans Hornets. Choose one and stick with it.
