    I'm getting pissed....

    I just bought my HDTV about 3 weeks ago and I love it, the reason I'm pissed is so far none of the damn ESPN nba games are being broadcasted in HD, what is this crap about.

      They're busy with football and they have limited equipment to use. Get used to it because at this time it's too costly for networks to show everything in HD because only a small percentage of viewers can take advantage of it. It will be an industry standard by 2007 so by then the majority of sports viewing should be in HD by then.

      The only sports that are keeping up is football and baseball. I rarely see hockey and golf only shows the Masters in HD. Although TNT showed most games last year in HD I have been disappointed with Bball this year but once football is over it should improve.

          If you have comcast and the INHD channels (INHD,INHD2)
          They sometimes show NBA games on INHD2 (they showed the twolves vs clips last night
          The games arent normally on the schedule, they just sort of appear (weird)

          But yea im with you it sucks thats one of the main reasons i got an hdtv... well nba games.. and 360

              yeah I did catch that Clippers game on INHD last night. Don't get me wrong I get the all Kincks and Nets home in HD, but I would like to see some of the ESPN in hd. I just don't get why there aren't in HD. College football, NFL, and freaking bowling come in HD, but not the NBA. COme on somthing's wrong with this picture.

                  I'm also disappointed with ESPN's lack of NBA games in HD. I remember last year, there was games in HD every Wednesday & Friday nights, but now there's not even 1.
