Ranked NBA2K3 games online are only played on pro level " What a joke"

I feel that NBA2K3 is at it's best and more realistic if played on all star mode, but when playing ranked games online you can only play on pro mode. I personally feel that pro mode is more arcadish and less simulation. I still love playing on pro mode, but it just lacks in simulation a bit.

You never see the superstars have a bad game and with 5 min quarters and timeouts they never seem get to fatigued.
So this in turn takes away from the simulation feel of it.

My wish would be to have the option of playing ranked games on each level. I'm sure it will still have a bit of an arcadish feel on All Star also, but it should help get it closer to a simulation feel.

I think 5 min quarters are probably the biggest reason the game lacks in simulation when playing online because the benches are not used much and the starters do not get over tired. I really would like to see the quarters go at least 6 minutes instead of 5, but again it probably will not make it perfect, but it should help give it even more of a simulation feel to it.

All and all I really think it's a great game and I know it has great simulation in it, but i want it to be utilized more when playing ranked games online.

I'm not tempted to play ranked games on NBA 2K3 just because it frustrates me so much that people are draining three from everywhere. I'd rather play NFL 2K3 and NHL 2K3.

That's exactly why so many people take Milwaukee when playing online because Ray Allen shoots about 90% from three land and Cassels and Thomas shoot close to 80 %.

I still play all the time and have a blast when doing so, but this game has a great simulation side to it and It's just not being utilized when playing ranked games online. I really believe by playing on all star level it would help push it more towards a simulation type game.

YUP !!! It happened again last night

A guy that I played took Ray Allen and the Milwaukee Bucks and he did not even need the Bucks and killed me with Ray Allen alone. I love this game as I have said, but it can really get ridiculous at times by playing on pro level with 5 minute quarters.

I want to know how anybody in the NBA can have a rating of 95 from three point land. Ray Allen is just about as good as it gets from 3 land, but I don't know if it should be a 95.

I would have two defenders in his grill and he would still bang them from 3 land...........no problem what so ever

I think he wound up scoring about 70 points.

I also can't stand the fact that free throws are way way too easy on pro level. This in turn makes it virtually impossible to come from behind in the final minutes.

I completely agree.
If you're going to call them "ranked games", at least implying that they're used to determine who the best players are, then it should be on All-Star level.

I'm at the point where, if I play someone who takes the Bucks, I might just drop right there - because I know what kind of player they are.

It's a great game - on the higher levels - but the ease of 3's and free throws darn near ruins the ranked game experience.

Great, I'm glad that I'm not alone here

I just wish I could hear from a lot more members of this forum that agree also. Then maybe Sega will hear about it and change the way ranked are being played as it stands now.

Pro level just does not do this game justice and really takes away from the great simulation side of this game. I believe if they could do ranked games on both levels it would probably make everybody happy.

The more that I think about it, I think the fact that free throws are way to easy on pro level is what makes me dislike pro level the most.

Wow i never heard so many people cry, if they are shooting three's change your d get a big man in their face and block the shot i can block about 12 shots a game.

NOPE !!!!!!!!!! we want more simulation and not more arcade.

PLUS this does not cure the easy free throw system either
