    Re: Bye Bye Tim Thomas!

Another one of those potential from years ago went to the drain. Unfotunately, the NBA is currently making a living on potential and only a few will pan out. Whatever happen to the old effective method of drafting players?

I seriously wanted tim thomas to develop, but he does seem to lack desire and that's why he hasn't produced.

That "ninja" doesn't have anymore time left to develop. Ain't he almost 30 or something like that? You don't develop at that age. They were talking about that in the pre-game show. The older guy said that Tim Thomas wants to get a little more playing time but he's not working on what he should. If he wants to get more time, he need to be hustling cause that's the type of team we have. He's getting $14 million and he's complaining about playing time but he's not putting forth any effort to contribute towards the team. We need a big man but Tim ain't working on low-post game. We need more rebounds but he ain't working on boxing out and grabbing boards. We could use even more blocks but he ain't working on his timing. In order to get something in the league such as playing time, you have to earn it. In order to earn it, you have to show that you deserve it. In order to deserve it, you gotta work on it. Tim just ain't got it.

Heck, it's vaary rare to see players in this league work on their fundamentals and improve from season to season. Tim just ain't Bulls material.......

Another player collecting a pay-check, but who's as useless as **** hair. Penny is the other and soon Jalen Rose will join them. Hmmm, that gives me an idea about a 3-way deal.

Really, TT was solid with the Bucks teams a bench player. That was a great jumpshooting team and it allowed him to play vs the other team's second unit. He started to get tired of playing behind Big Fraud Robinson, got sent to New York and it never worked. I think he can be servicable to stretch D's a bit and he's still an athletic guy.

People look at him as a jump shooter but when the Knicks made him their primary option at points last year, he posted up like crazy and played well.

I would like to see him here in Dallas as a back up SF/PF. He still can play.
