      Plus

He leads the NBA in 3pt shooting...

BY FAR!!!... the most UNDERRATED player in the NBA right now... BY FAR!!!
Let's not go crazy. Dirk is coming off a game where he went 5-22 vs the great outside defender that is Andrew Bogut. Bowen is one of the best defenders in the league, but Dirk's struggles are deeper than Bowen simply "shutting him down". He's been off as of late. Bowen just made the situation worse. Dirk is the only person that can make him shot such a bad percentage. He's unguardable when he's on his game.

Dirk probably has the most 30 point games vs San Antonio in the past two years.

Kobe takes bad shots, he's really the only playmaker they have (LO is very inconsisitent), and he's teammates suck.

Dont get me wrong, Bowen is a reason why both struggled, a big reason, but I was just pointing out that Dirk wasn't being himself lately. Though, he played well last night so....

                Why is that?

How do you stop a 7 footer who can make a shot from anywhere and put the ball on the floor. Not to mention he's efficent in doing so.

put a guy with length, speed and some athleticism and there you go and if you look at his form he doesn't get very high off the floor to shoot so he is blockable.

I would argue that Dirk isn't very efficient in doing so. He's got awful shot selection and isn't that great a percentage guy. Often makes shots much harder than they have to be. When he's on, he is virtually unstoppable though.

I know the game was a couple of days ago, but I still can't get over them not giving Terry any shots down the stretch.

I disagree. Every year since Dirk's rookie year he's shot 46%-47% from the field. For a primary jump-shooter, that's very good. Also considering he was averaging 9+ FT attempts last year, he was very efficient. This year is considerable down though.

Also about his shot selection, I dont think its bad for the simply reason Dirk is overrated in his ability to penetrate. He can do it, but he's a average finisher and at times out of control. The jumper is he's bread and butter.

Please. Dirk rarely gets his shot blocked. It rarely happens.
