i believe you're referring to the starting lineup.. where the fans are allowed to pick. if he's not voted to start, the western coach will defintely pick him as a reserve.. the fans have no say in the remaining 6-7 players on each team.

Does Brand really desevre to start over KG and Duncan? What about Tmac or Dirk?

I voted Brand but I dont think A) Brand's been so much better than the other Forwards por B) Brand's team has been the best for him to be the clear cut, no reason why he shouldn't be starting guy that some people make him out to be.

As of now, he's automatic to make the team.
