else pissed off like I am with the lakers.

I'm not a "*****" of them or anything but I just find it frusrating and leaving me with just a pissed off feeling inside, that the Lakers can score 3 bench points, split 31 points between 3 other starters, and let Kobe and Shaq combine for 78 and still win games.

It's typical LA basketball. It's not fun to watch. It's ruining the NBA.

It's ruining it, in a sense that people across the nation, other than Laker fans, don't want to watch games like this.

The Celtics, back in the day were never like this. They were exciting. How can 78 points between two players be "exciting".

It really can't and the NBA is losing many fans because of this cowardly type of playing. It's really not the lakers players fault, I'd just like to see them really dominate and not play like candy asses all the time.

Then again, their in hollywood.

How can you say that you're not a *****. Any chance you get to bash them or their players(especially Kobe) you take it. No I am not a bandwagon jumper I have been with them for as long as I have been a fan of basketball which is since they lost to the Bulls in the finals. I was 7 and that is really the first time I watched basketball.
Now in reply to your opinion I agree that it is not quite as fun to watch as teams like the Mavs or Clippers, but if your a fan of the team it is still fun to watch them. And it's not just the Lakers, this is not something that just suddenly happened in the NBA either. The Bulls were the exact same way. They had two guys (Jordan and Pippen) put most of their points on the board. Occasionally someone like Kukoc would put 20 on the board, but it would happen in a very great while. Sure it was a little different because they were two perimeter players whereas the Lakers are inside-outside, but it would end with the same result. Both teams stars putting up a combined 60 points while the rest of the team put up around 30.
About the 3 points off the bench. Well it's no secret that the Lakers aren't deep, but it also doesn't help when we are missing our two best players that come off the bench(George and Horry).
The current problems of the NBA can't be blamed on the Lakers. You need to look at some of the decisions by David Stern in terms of some of his rule changes and expansion teams that thin out the livel of talent each team posseses.

Like Olyn84, I've been a Laker fan since the early 90's and they're style of play now isn't nowhere as exciting as the Lakers of old (showtime, etc...I've seen games on ESPN Classic) but it's still fun to watch. AAnd if you don't like the way they're playing, then don't watch the games. A victory's a victory and I don't think Lakers care how they win, as long as they do. If they ant Kobe and Shaq to score 70+ points together in a game, then so be it. In my opinion, the Lakers are a fun team to watch. I don't know why so many people hate them anyway. They win 3 years in a row and now everyone hates them. What's up with that? I think the Lakers should keep playing the way they are and hurry up and get some wins. And like Olyn84 said, Horry's out, George is out, even Samaka Walker is out. 3 points of the becnh does suck, but they won, so who cares?

Not that I like it either but the Bulls, Rockets and Spurs had similar percentages so I don't see it as anything new for championship caliber teams.

Actually, you fit the desrciption of a "*****" to a tee. It sounds like you're a little jealous that Shaq and Kobe are so good and they play together. You're taking that "it's not fair" attitude that a lot of the haters have.

Its kinda hard NOT to when you love the NBA, yet it seems like every freakin game they show is the Lakers. The way the Lakers play is so predictable. Its either Kobe takes an abnormal shot, or they dump it into Shaq. Please, even if your a fan, dont you guys wish for it to get mixed up a little bit?

Did you guys NOT watch the Nets/Clippers on Thanksgiving? That was one of the most exciting games I've seen in a while. And you cant tell me youd rather watch the Lakers style over the FastBreak style.

Maybe the Lakers don't always play the most exciting style. But the fact of the matter is, the point of the game is to win. And they play the style that has lead them to 3 straight titles. And on that note, when the Lakers are clicking and playing in flow, like in the playoffs, they are definitely pretty to watch.
