you see the commercials, you see those screenshots, and i'm like wow, didn't i buy that game??? on my tv the game looks fine, but on the commercials the game looks much clearer, cripser, if that makes any sense...

My guess would be that it is cg or (if u have the PS2 version) its just the Xbox version of the game. But I get what your saying, most companies do that nowadays....

The progressive scan version does look like that. In fact, better than in the commercials.

You need the HD TV Pack. It runs at almost double the resolution and in WS.

what's the progression scan? and u need hdtv for the game to loook like that? that would make sense...

Progressive scan outputs all 480 lines as opposed to the ususal 480i (240 lines)....you need an HDTV to display this but it makes DVDs and xbox games look really nice. (Dvd's from a progressive scan dvd player, that is). Tiger woods doesn't run at 480p and it shows....big time.....playing games at 480p is what seperates the ps2 and the xbox for me.....it's a big difference.

Actually, it's not in 480P. It's in 720P which is quite a bit better. Most hi-def TVs don't do 720P and upconvert it to 1080i.

It will also run at 480p....my HDTV, like most, does not support 720p and the xbox will not convert to 1080i..........I'm hoping they will come up with a converter for the xbox.....games would really rock at 1080i...but in the meantime 480p still looks much better than 480i.
