O.J Mayo
There has been a lot of talk about this kid recently. I haven't seen him play so I dont know what it is that makes him special but people have been comparing him to lebron supposedly. Have any of you guys seen this kid play, I would appreciate some sort of a scouting report.(athleticism, court vision, quickness, scoring/finishing ability) Thanks.Tags: None -
Re: O.J Mayo
I'm sure you can find some clips of him.
He's a 17 year old sophomore though, so I don't buy all this stuff about him being the next LEbron. -
Re: O.J Mayo
Actually I couldnt find clips of him. But Ill keep looking.
And Im pretty sure he's a junior.Comment

Re: O.J Mayo
He's a junior. Listed as the #1 prospect on Rivals100's Class of 2007 list. Two of his teammates, Bill Walker and Keenan Ellis, are ranked #2 and #50 on that list too. I guess they must not lose much.Last edited by BunnyHardaway; 01-01-2006, 08:52 PM.Comment

Re: O.J Mayo
I've played with him, and against him, and also watched him play in High School. He used to go to Rose Hill, which was a small Christian Academy here in Eastern KY until he transferred to Ohio. Somewhere in Cincinnatti I believe. Don't believe the Lebron hype... he is a very talented ball player, but he isn't near the level Lebron was at. Granted, I'm quite a bit older than he is/was.. and I haven't seen him play this year. I'd say he's advanced quite a bit in the 3 years that I haven't seen him actually, lol.Twitter - WTF_OS

Man he is pretty damn old for a junior though. 18 years old... I was a 2nd year of college at 18.Comment

Re: O.J Mayo
OJ is not Lebron. That said, he is the the best high school player that I can ever remember other than Lebron. He is a 6'4" point guard that is a lights out shooter. His teammate Bill Walker is actually more exciting to watch and could go down as one of the best dunkers in the history of the game.Comment

Re: O.J Mayo
Haven't seen him play in person yet but plan to on Feb. 18. North College Hill plays Oak Hill Academy. From those that have seen NCH play in person, they play soft D because they know they can beat any team on offense alone. Mayo and Walker put on a show every time out from what I hear. I'm looking forward to seeing them.MLB: Cincinnati Reds

NCAA Football: Miami Hurricanes
NHL: Calgary Flames
