I really like the Knicks talent. David Lee is going to be a great player. The Knicks must get rid of Marbury and his horrible contract. He's just such a bad defensive player and not a team player.

All of their young players pretty much play the same positions. They have one of the worst records in the NBA and they have the most expensive payroll with few first round picks left in this decade and plenty of bad contracts. Hardly what I call the makings of a great team

Nobody said anything about a great team.

But there's is a medium between a great team and a complete mess and the team does have a lot of young talent. Frye and Curry are capable of starting for years. Lee should develop into a good player, though I don't know if he's athletic enough to keep playing SF. Crawford is only 25 and he has really improved his game this year. Nate Robinson has played well, I don't know if he'll always be a starter in the league because of his height but he will make an impact.

I'm not saying in a few years this team will be a championship team, but they have some good young players to build around, and while Isiah has made plenty of bad moves, he's put together a team that has a much better chance for success than it did before he got here.

I know but he still over dribbles and is prone to selfish play. The sooner NYK gets rid of them, the better.

But he has 3/4 years left on the deal and is owed $77 million.
