I'm starting to think that if Dallas goes on to win this game that it would be comparable to the Cowboys beating the Rams earlier this year. May not really mean much right now with the way LA is playing. Down 26 at the half? WTF?

Actually SoMiss, it's 28 at the half, 64-36.
Kobe has two points, Shaq has 3 fouls, and the Mavericks are absolutely embarassing the Lakers in the Staple Center.
The crowd is showering boos on the Lakers. Sorry, but the run is done for that team. They look old, tired, and in Shaq's case, way too fat. -

It hurts me to say this, but Dallas is the better team right now! They have been shooting lights out and the Lakers can't make an outside shot to save thier lives. This is actually the first time I have watched the Mavs this year and I must say that I like their defensive philosophy. The Lakers are getting open looks, but they can't make anything. (Make NBA guys shoot from the outside! What a concept!) Fisher is horrible tonight. I hope they make it respectable in the second half.Comment

This is great, i cant get this smile off my face,not only cause im gonna win my parlay rather easily, but because the dynasty is over, there is no want in that lakers team.
They are slow, fat and cant shoot
Mavs look awesome they shoot at will, much like the lakers but guess what the mavs make them

I'm in total disbelief. I was still cautious even up 27 and the lead just slip away. Lakers chipped away at it. I had a feeling this was about to happen.

THAT, boys and girls, is what happens when you quit playing basketball and start watching the clock.
Geez, what a game.
The Mavs didn't expect to be up by that much, and didn't know what to do. They stopped running altogether, and stopped fouling Shaq or anyone at the basket. They looked like zombies once the lead shrunk to 10.
Big lesson learned tonight. They're still 10 points better than the Lakers, I have no doubt, but this will sting them for a while, particularly since they don't play LA again until April.Comment

Uh oh... Great game. Both teams had two great runs. Live and die by the outside shot I guess. Like I said before, I haven't watched any of the Mavs games this year, but do they have anyone to go to down low? They weren't making all their outside shots like they were in the first half. The Lakers showed heart in the second half. Again great game...Looking forward to the next one.Comment
