To say he's a sidekick is rediculous... A side kick won't freaking lead the league in efficency rating for the past 3-4 years. Does he need help? Yes. But this guy still isn't chopped liver. He did lead a Wolves team to the WCF and if they had Sam, they might've beaten LA.

Re: KG = the opposite of clutch
dude david robinson lead the league in SCORING, had at least a couple rebounding titles, won multiple IBM awards, and lead his team to the WCF.
he was still never the best player on a CHAMPIONSHIP team, and kg never will be either.
that is what i meant by sidekick. i don't expect timberwolves fans to know anything about championship basketball anyway. you guys play like 5 playoff games a year, max.Comment

You know you can have disagreements without taking cheap shots and taking offense to everything said. You make fair points in this post but you come off a hot-headed person who cant take an argument without throwing out name calling and taking cheap shots at people he disagrees with.

Re: KG = the opposite of clutch
that is a good point, i apologize.
i watched david his whole career and i can tell you that i went through the same frustrations (to an extent) that you guys are going thru- ie not being able to get over the hump.
to win a title you need a clutch scorer who is your best player.
yes, kg is a very good player. but he will not be the best player on a championship team.Comment

Re: KG = the opposite of clutch
I think its better if Garnett stays in Minnesota even if that means not winning a championship. One thing thats more sad than Malone not winning a championship is seeing him go from team to team at the end of his career in trying...like he's Ahab stalking Moby Dick.Comment

I would not personally hold it against Garnett for getting some new scenery. Its like when youre an employee at a company for so many years and they dont give you that big promotion they keep promising. There are times to move on. With the right motivation, Garnett will be able to turn it on in the clutch.Comment
