I guess they might be trying to get Brevin Knight or Speedy Claxton according to the Detroit News. Knight has a year left on his deal and Claxton does not. They like Acker, but I agree that for now they need another guard so that they dont have to rely on the rook.

The Hornets might be willing to move Speedy Claxton since they just recently acquired Moochie Norris.

Meanwhile, the Bobcats don't have a reliable backup PG if they decide to move Brevin Knight. Can't see Charlotte wanting to move him now.

I dont see how Moochie Norris would factor into keeping or trading Speedy. He's a spare that is an average 3rd stringer. If he expected to regular play as a backup, he'll hurt the team.

I do think NOH would do a Cato for Speedy + filler deal as long as DET gave them the ORL first. SPeedy is probably not re-signing with New Orlenas with Paul there and the fact there will be a few teams willing to give him a starting role.

Not a bust. This kid is still only 20 years old, and still learning the Magic's system. If he stick with Orlando, Howard and Darko could develop into quite the frontcourt.
