It's tough to beat the great dunk contests of the 80's and early 90's. Vince has given us some cool ones. T-Mac has given us some to remember. But I'll take Shawn Kemp, Dominique Wilkins, and Spud Webb over any of those guys.
Dominique, yes for innovation but Spud Webb and Kemp over Vinsanity? Why?

so this is 'greatest dunk ever in the dunk contest' right? not greatest dunk EVER overall.

if that's the case than VC's olympic dunk is untouchable.

It's all in what you prefer. I honestly didn't like Dominique too much and Spud Webb was seen all over my neighborhood since half the kats were 5'10 and lower. Just was straight to me. Now, Kemp was special cause he could move like a freaking guard. Watching some of his game. ....can you deny his skill?

I personally think that there can't really be a Greatest Dunk EVER from the dunk contest cause that one that Vince did on that dumb kat in the Olympics was it!! Simple as that.....to me

Great contest. A.I. behind the backboard and Nate over Spudd were both just filthy.

Am I alone in thinking that the J. Rich Dunk where he toss the ball from the side lets it bounce then catches it put it between his legs and reverse dunks it with the left hand should have been in there and WON the entire thing. MJ's dunks were great for the time, but J. Rich's dunks are just on another level. MJ defied the law of gravity, but J.Rich defies the laws of physics.
