    iverson

i heard on NBA coast to coast that the sixers were looking to move iverson and they mention that he could be going to Denver, i would hope the sixers front office would have more sense than to move the only player on that team that can score on a regular basis, but who knows

I heard it too. I thought it was Earl Watson, Nene and someone else for Iverson. I really don't see that happening. Plus, Iverson wouldn't look too good in a Nuggets jersey.

Call me crazy, but I really believe that Allen Iverson needs to play alongside Kevin Garnett. With Garnett's rebounding skills and Iverson's ability to create and score from anywhere in the halfcourt, it could be a deadly combo.

I believe that they would complement each other so well. Also, I think A.I. deserves to win a championship with all the heart he plays with. Just amazing to see someone like him, score the way he does, and overcome the adversities he faces with him.

      Minnesota, KG needs AI!!

        Re: iverson

The sixers shouldn't trade Iverson becuase they will not get equal value for him at all, and the Sixers have some good young players that they can build around Iverson with.

If they just solve there D problems, they are a good team now.

LOL, why is it that Denver is the heart of all trade rumors?

They have lots of attractive pieces for the right team: Lenard, Watson, K-Mart, Nene...

Plus Kiki Vandeweghe (sp?) is in his last year and needs to make a big move if he wants his job back next year.

Sixers should not trade anyone...just keep the roster..keep the coach..resign Willie Green..sign 2 or 3 defensive minded, rebounding guys..develop chemistry..and next year should be great

Denver is in the thick of the rumors because of the great end to last season and the average start to this season. Carmelo is twice the player now then he was last year and they are facing just as many injuries now as they did in the 2nd half of last season.

They need to make a major move IMO.

I'd like to think it was that easy, but I don't think it is. Re-sign Green, and sign 2 or 3 defensive/rebounding guys? I don't think we have the money to do that. Develop chemistry? Is there a button to do that? We've had the same core of guys for the last few years.

I'd like to think we can keep Iverson, but he's really the only guy on the team that we can move besides Iguodala.

The Sixers need to rebuild. They are treading on mediocrity. If they keep Iverson, they will forever be fighting for 8th spots in the standings and never having any real shot at contending for a title.

You cannot, of course, develop chemistry just like that..it takes time.. that's the reason why this team needs to stay toghether, practice and play together , go to the training camp with the roster they have right now.. resigning Green won't be a problem salary wise, right?.. I meant get 2 or 3 big guys by trading some of our big guys.. don't you think they can develop chemistry this way and fix the problems during the summer?

that is so wrong.. guess everybody had too high expectations.. there are only 3, count them 3, veterans on that team..what do you expect from the rest of the guys like Korver, Dalembert and Iggy? to contend for the title?..you can expect that they will continue to learn how to play Nba basketball every night..
rebuild? around who? and don't give me that Pierce, McGrady or Bryant nonsense..
