...Over the last 5 games...he is averaging...24 points and 14 boards...Is Yao jus stepping his game up or is he being the Yao every wants/thinks he should be?

And he just had 32 and 13 tonight...If McGrady could possibly find a little bit of life in him (as hard as it might be pause) the Rockets could very well still make the playoffs...Altho a high pick could possibly help more than hurt...

Yao has to be consistent with his 30 points per game and double figures on his rebounds. Only then they could challenge PHX and or DAL (if T-mac will put in the same effort and intensity instead of his issues).

kidding aside, he's getting better, he's finally AVG DOUBLE DIGIT REBOUNDS....

i want to see the rebounds increase, as well as his blocks go up to 2+ a game...he's 7'6''....

but i guess he's progressing nicely

Blockin shots is not so much about bein tall as it is about timin and the style of defense your team plays...same with steals...but Yao just being 7'6" he alters alot of shot...but also gets dunked on waaay too much to be his size...so I would like to see him jus not get dunked on so much...lol

Yao is coming along just fine. People got down on him because of some peoples' expectations for what he should be, but he's been playing excellent this year.

Tracy McGrady makes a world of difference for that team. Yao's still doing what he does, but Tmac opens up so many things for him.
