Is Chris Paul running away with ROY

Has the Hornets as a sold 7th or 8th seed and 13 game turn around from last year. He averages 16 points a game 2nd in the NBA in steals and 7th in assist.

Is anyone else coming close?

Pretty much, his closest competition at this point (Frye and Villanueva) don't play on winning teams and don't have the minutes to put up bigger numbers to challenge Paul

He could give him a challenge. Since Rose was traded, and Charlie was in the starting lineup, he has been putting up numbers.

I think you are right Chalie V might give him a run, but then there is the Steve Nash factor. A player coming making the entire team better.

Charlie V could average 20 and 10 from here on out, and Paul would still win it. There's only 20 or so games left in the season.

This has been a great season for rookies. Chris Paul, Raymond Felton, Channing Frye, Charlie Villans (and who can forget how we bashed Toronto for picking him on draft day)...

That said, Chris Paul will still win it since he's been a G since the beginning of the season.

That said, Chris Paul will still win it since he's been a G since the beginning of the season.

If the Hornets fall off the rest of the way, anything is possible. But he is definately the first choice.

Hes too far ahead...he is the MVP of his team....and hes only a rookie...give some credit to Byron but give more to CP for being able to execute his game plan...
