You guys need a 2 guard in the worst way. A guy who can create his own shot and play good defense.

Rodney Carney or Maurice Ager would be great gets for the Bobcats.

Co-sign.... Felton leading the break with G Wallace on one wing and Carney or Ager on the other would lead to some beautiful highlight plays....

Actually, you're probably right. I keep forgetting that the draft will be different, and that there aren't any high schoolers getting the lotto picks anymore. I'm, for some reason, feeling like there wont be very many international players taken early either.

The Bobcats need a #2 guard a lot more than they need another forward. They're in pretty good shape there with Okafur, May, and Wallace. I doubt they'll draft Morrison even if he's available.

Bobcats have so many positions that they're solid at... I think picking Aldridge would be their best bet. Sean May is decent... but Aldridge has potential to be a force on the block with Okafor. Gerald Wallace is probably around what Rudy Gay will be in 4 or 5 years, if not better. Adam Morrison would be a solid pick... but I don't see him going 1 or 2.


Why not pick Morrison if they get the third pick? Move Wallace to SG, have Felton at point, Morrison, May and Oak. That's a quality, young team right there. Also, an above average bench.

Another guy they might get, who I don't know much about, is Andrea Bargnani. He's supposed to be the next Nowitzki. Dunno about those foreigners, though.

This is a make or break draft coming up, as well as the offseason... Fans are gonna want to see the team make a splash in the free agent market, and spend some cash... This Euro cat is intriguing, though... But too many of them are hit-or-miss... I would wager that we trade down if possible, and maybe wind up with two picks in the first round.

Everything I've read about Bargnani ... I'm not nearly sold on him. The problem with trading down is that we have to have someone willing to trade up. I know some team might possibly do it, but without a true number 1 pick, and no sure order of the Top 10, I don't think so.

I still like Morrison, but I also like the kid out of Texas -Aldridge - more and more. He could replace Brezec. I'm not the biggest Brezec fan and Aldridge would certainly add more interior toughness. The front line could be Okafor, May, Ely, and Aldridge. That's not bad at all, plus Okafor is a health concern IMO with his back and now his ankle.

I don't like Rudy Gay to be worth a Top 2 pick. Haven't seen enough to impress me. I like the idea of stockpiling picks but who wants to trade up?
