On espn it shows that the Celtics don't have any injuries. Does Doc Rivers just not like him? He was great for New Orleans last year.

He's been bad this year.

Delonte has been much much better too.

I just checked CBS Sportsline who seem to have a more accurate injury listing. They have him out for the year with an achilles problem. espn didn't even have Emeka Okafor down as being injured.

Yeah he's done for the year. But before the injury, we only used him in crunch time to hit freethrows when we were up. Delonte is much better all around, and Doc like Oriene Greene for his defense, which he's about as good at as Dan is offense.

dan is completely one dimensional, which is why delonte is better.

He could still be a good player, just not on the Celtics with the guards they already have. Plenty of guys have made good livings as scoring PGs off of the bench.

he blew out his knee I do believe. He was a solid shoot first point guard. His defense wasn't terrible but he just isn't physically strong enough to be much more than a 10-15 min guy.

his defense most definitely was terrible. unless he had some revalation since his time in new orleans, he can't guard anyone.
