We'll just have to wait to see how he does againt NBA competition next year.

The kid defetnitly has skills, I was impressed by him.
Very overhyped though. He can play but he seemed like another great athletic player who happens to be young.
I had to turn my volume off b/c of the constant nuthuggin by Walton and Dicky V. They did'nt even let the third guy talk.
The replayed almost all his shots. I'm like damn, who are the other 9 guys on the court.(like anyone cared)
And doesnt his coach look like an old school neanderthal?
But back to Lebron, he can playhis *** off and he seems NBA bound but you can tell that a great defender such as Payton or Bryant can shut him down easily. Very, very overhyped IMO. And the constant nut holding made my f'ing ears ring. ARE YOU SERIOUS, ARE YOU SERIOUS!
Dicky V and Walton were not made to commentate togather. They seemed to fight over who talks. He got good passing ability which is an essential. But as someone else mentioned his first step was a little to slow. And that 15 rebounds a game he adverages, hes not gonna be getting those numbers in the NBA.
But overall, he has the talent and i cant wait to see him in the League.

I think Lebron was by far the most athletic player on the court and I think he was the tallest, so he just used his athletic ability and height o beat oak hill and didnt really have much of an outside shot(maybe it was a little off tonight). Using your height is fine and dandy when you are in high school but what is gonna happen when he gets to the pros is he gonna be able to out athletic the big dogs???

I was more impressed with Lebron's court vision than anything else. I don't even care if this sounds ridiculous but he has the potential to be better than McGrady and Kobe.

Graphik, it wasn't just your run of hte mill high school. He was playing against all future Divsion 1 players, in which some of them will play at big time schools. Lebron's schedule includes all of the good private schools so he's playing the future pros right now.

I was really impressed by what I saw. I think the HS game is way too slow for the skills this guy has. When he had the ball, it just seemed like he could slash through guys at a moments notice. Instead he would look to get the other players involved. I think he was head and shoulders above every player out there. As has been pointed out, a number of these guys are going to Division 1 schools after HS. At the pro level, Lebron will definitely have the opportunity to use all his skills. As for his jumper, it looked pretty weak tonight. Then again, most of us have only seen Lebron play once (tonight). We all know that even the best shooters have bad nights. This guy was on a big stage tonight, and he showed the kind of skills that cannot be taught. I know there are probably a lot of people out there thinking he's a good player with a lot of hype. I for one, think he is the real deal, and I would love for my Knicks to somehow get him.
