The Nets are for real, they are playing their best basketball right now and beating the good teams. Miami is 2-12 against NBA division leaders. While the Heat could possibly turn it on in the playoffs we are yet to really see them play well against the NBA elite. The Nets split the season series with the Pistons 2-2, and beat the Heat 3-1. They have held the last 14 teams to an 83 PPG average. If Kristic plays well in the playoffs they are going to be very tough. Tough enough that I think they take the Heat in 7 and possibly (I'm pulling for them) make the NBA finals.
Kidd doesn't get enough credit, he has consistently showed up all season and is the difference between the Nets being a decent team and a team that can hang with the best in the NBA. Ask Kenyon Martin if he misses Jason Kidd
