I figured something was up w/ Big Ben in the Orlando game. It was odd that both he and Sheed just sat basically the entire 4th quarter.

I will. It's obvious he is disgruntled because he wants to be more apart of the offense.

And the Pistons will have to make a decision. Chauncey's deal is up next summer. Ben's deal is up this summer. Unless they want to be in deep Luxury Tax debt, they will have to make a decision on who to keep. If it were up to me, I'd keep Chauncey.

I hear Ben has fired his agent and now just has a consultant(or something like that). No guy goes on the free agent market representing himself, so I take it he isn't going anywhere. Joe D will get it done with Chauncey too.

I'm sure chemistry's OK. But in my mind, constant crying, whining, complaining, excuses... that all equates to bad attitude.

the bulls never did any of that during the bad boys era

why would I trust you? Unless you're Joe Dumars, you really don't know what they will do...

With 7:57 left in the fourth quarter, coach Flip Saunders took Wallace out of the game. Wallace was clearly peeved. He had played all 15 minutes of the second half to that point, and he stormed to the end of the bench uttering a torrent of unprintables directed at Saunders.

Saunders explained the move to Wallace, who waved him off.

A couple of minutes later, Saunders.......

                    Thoughts?
Man, ABC's coverage of today's game was horrible. It seems as if they were trying to make a story out of nothing. So Ben didn't come back into one game. It's not the end of the world! Anyone happen to see All-Access with that Ahmad guy at halftime? Well, if ya saw that you would be able to see that all talk of the Pistons falling apart is overblown and overhyped. Geez, can't people just enjoy greatness when they see it!?

Mark my words, Chauncey and Ben are going nowhere.

The entire reason they moved Darko and took on Cato's expiring contract was to clear the cap space to bring back both players without a significant hit on the luxury tax. Sheed will be the first Piston on a new team (or retired) and you won't see that for 3-4 years.

People can wish away this Starting 5 if they want, but they will be together for a while. Tayshaun Prince took a smaller deal. Sheed took a smaller deal than he would have gotten on the open market. They let above average players like Mike James and Memo Okur go to make the numbers work.

Bill Davidson and Tom Wilson have made billions of dollars selling glass... they know how to do the math of the salary cap.
