knick fans....who should stay? who should go?

i think all but marbury (can't help it, i've always loved him as a player), frye, lee, robinson, curry and especially crawford should go. jamal has shown he has great potetial to be a clutch player or a least a player who isn't afraid to take the high pressure shots. i know he may have just become more valuable as trade bait but we havent had that type of player in god knows how long. thoughts?

    Isiah Thomas.

Everyone else has such a bad contract that no one will want them.

But Jalen should be a nice trading piece next season with his expiring contract.

People keep talking about trading Marbury to Minnesota, but I don't see it happening. There is not $22 million dollar of assets that Minnesota could give that New York would be dumb enough to take (Jaric, Hudson, etc.). Wait, nevermind....Isiah is still in charge.

Rose is an awesome piece, but he will find a way to mess that up. That piece is probably his only chance to get Garnett, as Minnesota would not be dumb enough to take Marbury or Francis and lose Garnett.

As far as the other pieces, they are virtually untradeable. No GM in their right mind would take some of those contracts.

Marbury is the one guy that should be as good as gone. Who knows what we could net for him, I think Isiah realizes he just has to dump him for anything. Apparently all the teamates hate him and he just doesn't win.

After that it will be interesting with expirings with Jalen and Mo and rookies like Nate, Lee, Frye, not to mention 2 1st round picks, who knows what Isiah will do.

Isiah is gone. Marbury's got to go too. I think Frye and Lee have to stick around because Lee seems like he hasn't given up on the season. He's always hustling. Frye is a promising talent. Nate should be traded. I think he's too much of a showboat, and Brown doesn't like him. Crawford can be a chuck sometimes, but you can tell he has talent. He will probably stay. The other guys that should leave will have to stay because of their insane contracts.

Knicks should never have hired Brown. I'm already sick of hearing about him in the media. Yeah, it's the players' fault that they're in this situation, but I blame Brown as well.

In any case, most of the Knicks are going to stay, I just don't see how they're going to be traded anytime soon. I don't think Nate Robinson deserves to go. Who cares if he's a showboat this early in his career? He's not a top 5 talent or anything that would make it come off as arrogant, and he has worked hard and has shown he cares about winning even now.

                Stay:
                Jamal C
                Larry Brown
                Frye
                Curry
                Isiah
                Nate
                Lee
                Butler
                Woods

                Go:
                Steph
                Rose (Both M and J)
                Taylor
                Jerome James

                On the fence:
                Francis
                Q. Rich

                    Francis
                    Marbury
                    Robinson
                    Taylor
                    James

and since Q. Woods attempted a 360 in a game and missed, he signed his own pink slip.

                    Keep:
                    Curry
                    Crawford
                    Frye
                    Lee
                    Rose, Jalen
                    Richardson
                    Butler
                    Rose, Malik

and if Woods says sorry and pays a $5000 fine for missing that 360, they should keep him on the reserve til Jan.

                    ...im done...Knicks suck...

gilateen its not like its an important game, let them have fun or at least try to, i've seen lots of players miss dunks in important games.

                        I would keep

                        Woods
                        Frye
                        LEE
                        Nate
                        Curry
                        Butler
                        Isiah
                        LB

i agree with you totally my man. even though i was happy when LB first got hired. i at least expected the team to get better as the season went on but they didn't. i understand he has been a winner everywhere he's been and his system is supposed to be so great and all. but great coaches can also alter their philosiphies and tailor them to the personnel they have. LB has not even tried to do this. he can suck it up for one year until and if mgmt could bring in his type of guys. and you can't win using something like 25 starting lineups in the 1st month and a halif of the season. he has by far done one of the worst coaching jobs this year i have ever seen. kinda reminds me of ray handley whith the giants back the day.

Crawford - has really improved, hit two game winning shots back to back, then scored 30+ points the next game. Brown has really got jamal on track. Too bad you cant say that about the majority of knicks players.

The other players that the knicks should keep are:
                              Frye
                              Lee
Robinson - I still think he could be something special if he would just stay under control.

The rest of the knicks line up should go.
