    Marcus Fizer

I've never liked the Bulls, but I have always liked this guy's game. I've been dissapointed that they haven't given him more playing time, especially when they have been losing so much.

He was a top 5 draft pick...why not give the guy some playing time?!

He went off for 20 and 17 v the C's tonight. He could average 12 boards a game if they started him.

Time to reward his hustle and give him a starters spot IMO.

Curry needs a lot more time and Chandler is not going to be the superstar they hope. They have made some horrible decisions the past few years. They should have had Francis and, after picking him, they should have kept Brand.

It's nowhere near too late to at least start getting back on track and Fizer getting 40 minutes a night would be a good start. He actually gets LESS PT now than he did two seasons back...how do they expect him to improve?!

Anyone else think he should be getting more playing time?

No, and I am a Bulls fan. The problem with Fizer is he is woefully inconsistent. He never would have been drafted as high as he was if it wasn't for that draft class being so bad. He can look brilliant at times, but he has stretches where he doesn't even seem to know how to play basketball. He's also a pretty bad defender (like the rest of the Bulls).

I agree with you Brando, he's an inconsistent mutha. I saw the game last night also and he snaped off. Same with the last four games but he does'nt play like that everynight. some days his post game is downright suspect. I really like the way Jay williams is playing now(it seemed after coach K watched him he stepped his game up)And Donyell isa great adition to the team.
But what kills me, is how the media in Chicago is starting to hop on the bandwagon now, at first they cracked jokes about em(Bruce Wolf) but now they ae like-these kids can play. and they are gonna start watching some games. I'v watched every Bulls game this season and I have faith in these boys. They remind me of the clippers like they are fighting for that 8th spot in the playoffs.

        It's about a month later.

Just curious if either of you have revised your opinions as he has been on FIRE for the past month.

I don't see Chicago anywhere near as much as you, so I'd be interested if you still disagree.

If Chicago want to trade him to the Rocks for Maurice Taylor, your more than welcome

Fizer can score and this year he seems to be rebounding better, his minutes are picking up and he is playing more consistently. I like him coming of the bench though gives the reserves a guy they can go to. He had a big game tonight as well.

I'm starting to realize the fizer is a .45. A freakin gun. Damn dude pass the ball! Thats the only reason he scores so much, because the second he gets the ball he instantly drives and shoots.
I aint mad at him though, someone needs to step up besides Jalen.

Fizer who is one of those players too slow to play SF, but that's where they try to stick him. It's a riddle as to why he doesn't get a whole lot of playing time...

Because he has no D. And he's perfect off the bench. T. Hassel has D, thats why he starts. If it was my team, I'd bring him off the bench. But I'm noticing that he's playing hard so he can start. He'll get the call soon, real sson.
And look who was sticking him yesterday, no one special.

Yah Fizer ain't much on D, but neither is Eddie Robinson or Jalen, you need to have a gunner off the bench, I think that might be a perfect role for him, especially now since he is rebounding better. He also seems to be quicker and stronger this year and knows how to take advantage of it better.

His play has surprised me a lot, but I think with the Bulls, he is better served as a 6th man. He provides a real spark off the bench, but his D is still not very good.

I actually think now would be a good time to trade him, maybe package him with Crawford for a good veteran forward who can play D.
