There is no comparsion as they are two completely different types of players.
But I will say this Wade is not a top 5 player. Take Shaq away and Wade drops to that 15-25 range.

Hmm funny you highlighted the beginning of the post and not the end. And again if you compare the ROOKIE seasons of the two they are comparable. The Lakers went from NBA favorites for the title to 7-8 seed hopefuls. Miami went from 7-8 seed hopefuls to NBA favorites for the title...I wonder why? Shaq makes it ALOT easier, ask Kobe. Kobe has to average 35 a night just to slip into the playoffs, cmon. Wade is awesome, yes. Better than Gordon, yes. Do you know how great Hinrich and Gordan would look if they had Shaq inside???

I agree with you in the sense that Wade better improve his jump shooting ability down the road, he cant depend on them legs forever. Look how drastically Jordans game changed in the later years, fall aways, fade aways, turn around fade aways, threes, 18 footers and beyond.

But that would be one more thing he could do effectively. Rather than catching and shooting, he could catch, pump fake, and drive to the hole, making him that much more effective.

Whoever said Wade has to improve his jump shooting; I completly agree with you. Thats what hes always been lacking, though he has stedily improved throughout his career, and I see no reason why he wont get better as he gets older...
