Lol, this coming from a guy complaining about free throw routines.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I always laughed at Larry Johnson's, because it always seemed like he was going to lose the gum he was chewing.

When I shot free throws, I bent down really low and rose up to take the shot. No idea why, it was just comfortable, and I made like 85% of them, so it worked. I'm sure it's the same with all of the NBA guys, they find something that is really comfortable and shoot that way.

Van Exel said at Cincy that he did it that way becuase he couldn't shoot close shots. I think he was kidding, but he's comfortable, and makes a good amount of ft's so who cares?

Hornacek's "wiping of the face" was actually his way of waving to his kids.

When you play 21, that's where ft are shot from so I would assume he does it because of that.

Gilbert Arenas by a country mile. It takes a full 10 seconds before he actually shoots it, but will flick out a 3 pointer in 0.2 seconds falling sideways that always seems to drop in.

I don't really have a routine, I just straight up go to the line and bust those shots.
-I do three slow dribbles, looking down at the ball, legs bent slightly

-Line the ridges up properly in my hands

-Look up at the basket and do a smooth up and release motion

                  -Ball swishes through the hoop
