HMcCoy hit the nail on the head. Kobe has now learned to trust his teammates. I still have a hard time believing what I'm seeing. One thing is certain.....win or lose.....this Laker team has matured to what seems to be the equivalant of two-three seasons over the last six weeks.

Kobe has got more heart than 99% of the leauge and ten-fold that of a player like McGrady. Kobe and the Lakers will win a title before the Rockets even sniff the conference finals.

I'm indifferent about the NBA. I used to be a fan back in the 80's and early 90's, but today's game doesn't appeal to me. I do, however, watch some during the season and most of the post-season and it kills me to see people openly bash a player (as Kashanova does) when it is completely unwarranted.
The simple fact of the matter is that Kobe is an amazing talent that we are seeing become a "complete" player before our eyes. I recognize all the other great talent in the league as well (LeBron, Duncan, Garnett, Rip, the list goes on) and I know who the garbage players are that think the NBA game is just another street game, but I don't go bashing them every other thread.
In the end, my point is that it gets tired opening up every other thread in the NBA forum and seeing yet another negative thing about Bryant and the Lakers when the topic has nothing to do with the man's game.
I can see why some of the people openly complain about this forum.

Yeah he's changed for the series. He's doing what he needs to do to beat the Suns. If he needs to jack up a lot of shots to beat the Clippers he will.
See, unlike you... most Laker fans don't like Kobe because of how he's played for four games. We like him for how he's played since he's been a Laker.
At times selfish. At times a bully. At times an ANTI-Shaq.
Still love him as a Laker. IMHO, I wouldn't want any other NBA player on my team. I've felt that way since his freshman season being the Kobe you've all grown to love hating , all the way up to now, where he's doing what he can do to WIN.
Most of Kobe's haters, including you, have said that Kobe was more interested in being "Kobe" than winning. Well, now that he's obviously proving you wrong you want to say "hey, we just wanted him to be a good team player".
OK.Fulham FC...Showin' em love.
