    Inside Drive 2003

I am getting dead on statistics with the following sliders:

    All Star 8 minute quarters

    Player Speed: default or 0

    Cpu blocks: +3
    Hum blocks: +3

    Cpu steals: -5
    Hum steals:-5

    Cpu 2-pointers: -1
    Hum 2-pointers:-1

    Cpu 3-pointers:default or 0
    Hum 3-pointers: default or 0

    Re: ISD 2003 sliders

I'm also getting pretty realistic stats using these slider settings,

    10 min Quarters Allstar

    Player speed +2

Steals all the way down (Get more fouls called)

    Comp 2pts -2
    Hum 2pts -2

    Comp 3pts -1
    Hum 3pts -1

    FT All on default

    Dunks -2 (Hum and comp)

    Blocks +2(Hum and comp

    Dekes 0 (Comp&Human)

    Hook Shots -1 (Comp&Human)

    Camera Drive

    Comp Sim 11 mins

I like to play longer quarters and have the 2pts & 3pts down a couple as it seems to give you better FG% and final scores.
I tried playing 8 min quarters but i could not get near 100pts.I was averaging about 60-70pts a game. However, i probably play alot slower than other people.Playing ten minute quarters for me, i score anywhere between 70-110pts(So does the computer). As for the computer & my FG% it's anywhere between 38%-58%.Shots pg are around 75-95,Rpg 35-55.
    Offensive rebounds: Lowest 9 Highest 28.(Usually 18+)
Free throws : Lowest 4 Highest 16.(Not enough).
Steals and blocks all seem to be as realistic as the NBA.

All star players seem to blow you away if not defended against well.T'Mac the other night got a triple against me as i had him double teamed most of the night. He made 18pts 12 assists and 10 rebs.Armstrong nailed a 3 right on the buzzer to win 91-90.It was one of the best games i've ever had but at the end it sounded like the crowd was booing. Magic were at home! It made a great game turn dull which was a shame.

I haven't yet played live 2003 but i remember playing live 2000 and the crowd played a big part. They totally pissed you off when you were losing away with their screams and yells and made you feel like loser when you were losing at home.
It sounds like the crowd is always booing in ID 2003 win or losing.

If they can fix this and some of the things neo posted in another thread it will be hard to beat next year.

Alright...what exactly are dekes? Just fakes or what? It's always confused me...I feel really stupid now.

I don't see how you can play with the speed at default. For me the game gets boring. So I have the speed maxed out.And I don't have a clue what a deke is either.

Is it harder to defend the computer when the player speed is faster? The only setting I have played at is default because it seems pretty realistic to me.

A deke is the crossover. If you notice when a player does a crossover, he'll move a LOT sideways, or very little depending on his crossover rating.

I see...lol...couldn't they make it easier and just say crossover? But thanks for clearing that up.

Yeah, Microsoft needs to learn that "deke" is a hockey term, not part of hoops lingo.

                Take care,
