    Playoff Scheduling

    whats up with the 3 days off till game 7 for the Clippers and Suns games? Stern is getting one series to go 7 games, lets let the players decide this one. what else does he want...

      The longer the playoffs last, the more merchandise and advertising the leagus sells. They also want to make sure the highest profile players get the best TV times. The Cavs had 3-day breaks twice in the Washington series. It's pretty ridiculous that they drag this on so long, but that's big business for ya'

          You would think that the game 7 would be on Sunday night in primetime at like 8 eastern time or something. It makes too much sense to me.

              Probably don't want to go up against Mets-Yanks which will get most of the NYC viewers. You don't want to miss out on the #1 market.

                  The reason the Suns was push to Monday becauseof the WWE tonight and Arena Football last night..

                      I think the Mets/Yanks reason was better because if the NBA is struggling against WWE and Arena football then you KNOW there's something wrong with the product.

                          I assumed it was due to the fact that they didnt want to give one team an advantage in the WCF's because if either team won they would have an advantage over the number one seed in the west which wouldnt be fair.
