Lebron walks off without shaking the Pistons' hands

Supposedly this happened, and supposedly Kobe did the same against the Suns (I didn't see either incident).

Kobe gets crucified in the media (and here), but Lebron gets a pass.

    Interesting...

Supposedly this happened? LeBron has been jocking these dudes in the media, and given more hugs than a damn family reunion...even after Z got opened up by Sheed a few months back...but we're supposed to crucify Lebron now?

Kobe didnt get crucified in the media. Not that I noticed.

          And I don't think he's a "sore loser" like L-E-I-N-A-R-T.

Maybe he was just frustrated cause they the Cavs got shut down in the second half, but still the kids in his commercial should witness him showing sportsmanship,it was a great series for LBJ.

Hey, Kobe does the same, especially to Lebron. I'm just sayin'.

Like I said, I didn't see it myself (turned off the game when it was no longer in doubt).

That's true. It's no big deal and I'm sure the Pistons had no problem with it...but if LBJ is going to be the face of the NBA, little things like this are important.

all he did was show great sportsmanship the whole series, on court, in the media etc/ he gave them to much credit. shouldnt have shook hands and gave out hugs before the tip each game. piss on the team your playing until your eliminated and then its time to shake em up.

sheed bashed the cavs in the media, gave them no respect, but bron huggin him before tips etc. that makes me puke. shake em up after but not during. he handed out props and hugs to these guys this series that could last for the next 3 years.

Re: Lebron walks off without shaking the Pistons' hands

Agreement. Hey, even MJ (though I hate the MJ-Lebron comparisons) shook hands with the Bad Boys, even though I know it galled the hell outta him. Hell, it galled me as I used to HATE the Bad Boys back then.

Oh, here's the link I got the info about Bron not shaking hands:

Where Amazing Happens. Discuss all things NBA here, including the history of the game, player comparisons, regular season games and much more.

Like I said, didn't see it myself, but thought it was interesting when I read this considering Kobe did get criticized for it when he did the same (my use of the word "crucifiy" may have been too much earlier.)

The NBA is not hockey were they shake hands after a series.. Since when is it a requirement to shake hands? I don't remember the Astros shaking the White Sox hands after they lost..

It's good sportsmanship. Or, do they not teach that anymore?

Good sportsmanship is not talking trash to reporters and pretty much calling your opponents trash.

It doesn't matter that Kobe walked off, and it shouldn't matter that Lebron walked off.

What's Rasheed got to do with this?
