Living in Toronto, I got to see a lot of this guy- from what I've heard, he's a severely insecure guy behind the scenes. Obvious by his attitude- just way too "me" oriented.

Don't get me wrong, he can ball...However, just not the guy I would throw big bucks at. He's got nerves of steel and can make the big shots, but I'd really only want him as a spark off the bench...a bit too small to play the 2 and too selfish to play point.

Ever since he started getting recognized as a baller his ego went through the roof. Danny Ainge discovered him in 2003 and when he played for us he was that guy with a hardnosed attitutude, no ego, who just played hard, made tough shots and left it all on the floor. A lot of times he even came off as shy. Now he thinks he's the s***.

I've seen and heard tons of interviews with the guy. He seems like a geniunely nice guy but as someone said he comes off as VERY insecure. I don't think he'd rest on his laurels after a big contract but he might actually try TOO hard. The more I think about it the more I think a big contract will ruin his career.

There's a reason why this guy has gone thru so many teams in the last several years and why Houston was willing to trade him for a headcase like Rafer Alston. He's an unstable person who will ruin the chemistry of any team he plays significant minutes for as he is under the delusion that's he's the best player in the league and should be the 1st option no matter where he plays. Not to mention defiantly stating that he would do high risk activites in the off season and any team has to learn to accept it.

If he's expecting a big payday then he truly is delusional. He should be happy to get 3 years at 4 Million because his recent rants have pretty much killed any interest teams had in him. I wouldn't be suprised to see him sign on for less than he would have made if he didn't opt out. He has about as much appeal as Latrell Sprewell right now to most teams.
