Tim Thomas comments about Dirk
"I've never in my life seen Dirk talk as much," the Phoenix Suns forward said of the Dallas Mavericks' 7-foot star. "Where I'm from, if I were to get punked by him, I'd never be able to go back. That definitely wasn't going to happen."

Re: Tim Thomas comments about Dirk

because I was wondering exactly what it was that's been keeping him firmly planted on the bench of more than a few teams that could use his help....
he's just full of *&#*VOL T VOL.....................

Re: Tim Thomas comments about Dirk
It's all a matter of offensive gameplan and structure. Those teams he played on he wasn't allowed to do what he's doing now. Like a bad @$$ child that has to sit down all day and listen. He's finally been "adopted" by a team that lets him have a little fun without choking himself. Bulls aren't into all that. Tim doesn't stick good defense so he wasn't really fitting well with the Bulls system. On the real though, I didn't know that Dirk scored that much until I was watching ESPN today. Out of control.......Originally posted by Sheikokay, that's what it is...

Re: Tim Thomas comments about Dirk
Tim Thomas is THE.SOFTEST.GUY.IN.THE.NBA.
This is the guy who got destroyed by Kenyon Martin...then cried and said "i'm gonna spend all off season doing boxing training"....
This is the guy who cried when Coach Karl asked him to play PF...and refused to go back into the game at PF...
This is the guy who quit on two teams paying him huge $...
Nash makes him look half decent for the first time in years...and he talks like he's a superstar.
Dirk whiped his arse yesterday with Tim Thomas' jersey...it's that simple.Comment

Re: Tim Thomas comments about Dirk
That was a classic. A career disappointment and mediocre player like Tim Thomas has a short hot streak for three quarters of a game, and all of a sudden his ego gets the better of him. Playing against the 7-ft German, I wonder what Tim Thomas found so offensive in being punk'd by what he calls, "a guy like him". Is that another way of saying "tall white guy"?Originally posted by Court_visionDirk whiped his arse yesterday with Tim Thomas' jersey...it's that simple.
Right after Tim Thomas' little temper tantrum and kiss blowing, he gets outscored something like 22-0 by Dirk in the 4th quarter. He's torched on national television for 50 points because he got his opponent all riled up.
Note to Tim Thomas: Next time a 2-time All-NBA 6-time All-Star talks trash to you, just tuck your tail between your legs and meekly back off.Comment

Re: Tim Thomas comments about Dirk
Tim Thomas is 6'10...
He's about 250 pounds...
He has averaged 4...FOUR...rebounds a game throughout his career...
That says it all. He needs to STFU
He can't even say he just lost it for a moment...he talked the exact same trash about Kenyon Martin a few years back when K Mart destroyed him...
The "i'm gonna spend all summer boxing" (to get 'tough' to meet K Mart again) quote is still one of the funniest "cries" i've ever heard...Comment

Re: Tim Thomas comments about Dirk
That's right guys. Tim Thomas is reading this board. Get him fired up!! He's pissed. Game 6 on the line in PHX. Dallas doesn't stand a chance. Nash won't let it happen.
t's really too bad you guys are so offended that Dick Nowirtzki is a flopper! Yeah, he can score. But, you put some guys in his face and he's nothing more than a sam cassell, some dude named radmonovich, and a kobe bryant all rolled into a body with some size. Flop, flop, flop. Freethrow, freethrow, freethrow.... Points add up, fouls add up... he gets the problems out of his way by playing some cheap ball.Comment
