I was against the Lakers in the first round and i was 1st in the west while they were 8th anyway i was killin them the first game. (i was the spurs wit Ginobili) and the secon game was much closer. Then in the 3 game it was close till the 4th and Kobe went off scorin 12 and grabbin 6reb and dishin out 3 ast he killed me. It is so realTags: None -

As quiet as it's kept, ID 2003 is the best out there. Sure 2k3 looks good but it can't match ID 2003 gameplay!"Never trust a big butt and a smile."-Ricky Bell

Next year's Live will be the best sim out there. As long as they put the gameplay sliders they have in March Madness and pick offensive strategies for teams instead of making us do it, Live will be the best sim out there. The animations in Live are the best.Comment

true, the players in LIVE do move better than the other games. but there are sooo few of them...I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...Comment

NBA 2k3 is the best sim out (have not tried ID 2003 yet), IMO.
Live is like NBA Jam on crack. Every game is like an up and down track meet. No doubt that Live is fun, but 2k3 is more of a sim. I don't think 2k3 needs freestyle controls, just better fast breaks. Players having to stop completely to catch the ball on the break is ridiculous.Comment

Not true. Without gameplay sliders or editing the rosters it seems that way, but once you edit the rosters, the sim aspects really come out. As long as Live 2004 gives us the options that March Madness 2003 has, the game will be insane.Comment

Re: how can u guys say
no i'm not using the normal silders, to me i would have to say that NBA 2k3 is the best all around b-ball game out because its Ai is not that far behind ID 2003 and the graphics r way better so TO ME that makes it better and the way the game feels like a real NBA arena just to much for me to give up. I hope I'm not soundin like a fanboy lol but i think that Sega wil make that greatest game of all time in 2K4 they will finally have a entire year to work on it.Comment

Re: how can u guys say
Have you just started playing NBA 2k3 recently? At first, I thought it was a great sim, but its flaws started to show itstelf the more I played it. For one thing, the defensive AI is terrible. Players don't doubleteam when a player gets hot, teams rarely switch to zone defense, and the ball pressure is terrible. Teams just don't adjust to how you're playing the game, and that's why it's inferior to ID 2003 at the moment. I hope they get things right next year.Comment

What difficulty setting are you using? On Pro and Up the Defense is like a visible wall.Comment

Re: how can u guys say
You have to be kidding. The AI does NOT double team a player who's hot, nor do they adjust to how you play the game. It's that simple. I play on All-star, and I've tried other levels. The AI is a pushover. The "wall" effect you're talking about is the defensive stopping power slider, which really shouldn't be very high at all, since players should be able to drive to the basket or be called for charging fouls/blocking fouls by running into the defender. Unfortunately NBA 2k3 STILL doesn't have this in their game yet.Comment
