As far as where the off-season will bring him, it's not official he'll go to the Mavs. Like PG referred to, the Mavs have a ton of depth already, I don't know why George would want to play a minimal role.. plus the Mavs are only offering him a one-year $2 mill deal.
There are three other teams pursuing him: Cleveland, Pheonix, and New Jersey. If he wants to actually get PT, i'd go to the East and sign with either the Cavs or the Nets, both are playoff teams.
