Re: AMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah this kid is a stud. It'll be tough to see if he wins ROY over Ming. he may deserve it more but Ming might get it for the hype. -
Re: AMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They should split it.They are both very deserving IMO.......Comment

Re: AMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I see this happening if Amare and Yao both keep up their current paces. Hill-Kidd, Brand-Francis (should have just been Brand thoughI'm a Bulls fan) so why not Yao-Stoudemire? Living in Phoenix, I get to see Amare a lot, he is a BEAST. The thing I like most about Amare and Yao are, what's there not to like about them? They are both fun to watch, they aren't cocky, and they keep the NBA interesting. I hope they both get ROY.

Re: AMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know one thing. The 2002 draft has some big time future stars. Ming, Stoudemire, Gooden, Butler and there are alot of other players who have tons of potential.Comment

Re: AMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Marbury needs to grow up and get the time at the T-Wolves out of his head though.
Garnett is a GREAT player and this is just disrespectful. Not to mention, why bring Mario Ellie into it...a guy who has more rings and has hit more pressure shots than little boy Starbury ever will...
"After the game Marbury was asked to compare the 20-year-old Stoudemire to Garnett at the same age.
"It's not even close,'' Marbury said. "He doesn't even compare to Amare. Two different people. It's like Michael Jordan and Mario Elie.''
When Marbury's comments were played back for Garnett, the Wolves star said: "This is Steph being jealous. I'm still on his mind. He used the young fellow to come at me.''
Marbury and Garnett were close as teammates during Marbury's first two seasons in Minnesota, but grew apart. Marbury demanded a trade from the Wolves in 1999 and has had a chilly relationship with Garnett ever since.
"He's got three kids, a wife, a family, bills, all sorts of things. But I'm still on his mind, like a girl,'' Garnett said."

He should've stayed in Minnesota. No, wait, then the Nets would have never got JKidd. Nevermind.Comment

Re: AMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd take Garnett over Marbury anyday, mainly because I hate hearing Marbury whine.
Amare is awesome, a freak. He's out of high school and he's doing better than any other kid straight out of high school has done. I didn't expect him to do much for a few years, like most high schoolers do when they first hit the league, but this guy can not only hold his own, but he is dominating at times.Lux y VeritasComment

Re: AMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's not get too excited- he had a great game last night, but he has a long way to go. I do like the fact that he is fearless inside. In other words, he's not afraid of getting his shot blocked. And I think this shows a lot of maturity for a young kid. Once he polishes his inside game, he will be great. Right now, he doesn't really know what to do with it inside. He needs a lot of work on defense too. He gives away his position way to easily.Comment
