I have NBA2K3 and I hate the fact you can't play multiplayer franchise, and also its starting to get boring to me. How is Inside Drive 2003 like how fun is it.. how long will it last and how good is multiplayer, and the franchise...

I got bored with 2K3 too, but then I found some good sliders on this board that made the game fun and challanging again. I'd say try that before you consider buying a new game, use the search up top of the forum and find arenas's sliders from a while back, they are a good starting point to make the game fun again(i'm saying this assuming that you are getting bored because it is too easy). As far as ID2003, I've heard it's got the best AI out of any NBA game this year, so I'm sure you wouldn't be dissappointed if AI is your thing, I would definitely try using some different sliders in NBA 2K3 before buying a new game though.. -

Let me comment before we get the 5-10 ID buddies telling you to sell your house and use the money on copies of ID 2003.
ID doesn't even compare with 2K3's franchise mode. I seriously hope that multiplayer stuff is not ruining the game for you because if it is, I guess you let it ruin a lot games seeing that it's not a option in many games.
ID is so boring man, presentation wise, crowd wise, etc. It does have pretty good A.I., but my experience was when I played it, why am I playing this one when I can be playing 2K3?
Why exactly has 2K3 gotten "boring" for you? Are you winning all the time and stuff like that?Comment

I was playing ID 2003 so much that I got really burned out. I decided to take the Denver Nuggets and sim a bunch of seasons. It took me 9 years before I won an NBA Championship. The Franchise mode in ID 2003 is not that bad. I am sure it is not as good or near as in depth as NBA2k3 but it still adds a lot of fun to the game. You can take a good draft pick and watch him develop. It is a little too easy to get some good free agents but the trading intelligence is pretty damn good and you do have to manage a salary cap which forces you to make decisions.
After not playing an actual game of ID 2003 for about 2 weeks I just played a game again today and it just reinforced to me how great the game play in this game is. I feel refreshed and I am enjoying the game as much as ever.Comment

NBA 2K3 is just gettingboring.. sometimes yes I win to much... but I can fix that.. but its like the computer AI doesn't eve rely on theirstar player.. they wanna drive in with the pg all the time.. fast breaks piss me off. and I reminsince on ID 2002 and it doesn't seem as fun. SO I pop in ID 2002 firt time playing since oct... and it just seemed to run better even though it was fast.. just seemed more fluid. Shooting animations and stuff.. and on nba2k3 u can't pass out of double teams and nail the open jumper cuz the defense responds way too quick, or they juggle the fu*ing ball, and when you try to hurry up and shoot hey do that ugly *** off balence shot goes in at lessu have a create player with his shot 99. I feel like I'm playing franchise just to scout.. Don't get me mistaken the game can be fun I had it since day 1... but man I wanna have fun wit it to 2k4, and thts not gonna happen.. Whats with the no multiplayer Seasons, o Multiplayer Franchises. no editing a player.. wanna put a beardon Vince Carter when he gets old in the franchise a big azz beard. Its tha lil things u know... If the franchise is too deep for multiplayer.. make a multplayer version and a single player version.. I mean every other game ha a multiplayer franchise... and whats up with the wack azz post up game... on 2k1 it was nice... now what have they done... Shaq can't back down dajaun wagner?? What!! Iverson can't blow past Shawn Bradley?? what!! excuse me if its sounds like I'm raving and sounds like a ID 2003 fanboy, hell I never even played ID 2003 I just wanna know where it compares... get at me...PSN:TreismComment

ID 2003 in my opinion does not have GREAt presentation in the season like when winning a championship they just tell u u won,and thats it in 2k3 u win and they show how u win and stuff celebrating,also like in 2k3 u can move teams from the east to the west and west to east in ID2003 u can't do that..those are the differences i see in both franchise modes,but i STILL like ID2003 much MUCH!! more then 2k3(with gay *** camera options
)the AI INDEED is the greatest i've ever seen in an NBA game so far it makes the game more exciting,and u don't always win(like in 2k3)oh and yes u can play myltiplayer seasons in ID 
,it also has a fantasy draft so if u start a season u might wanna start it with a crappy team and select allstars to good players and have rookies in ur bench to see them develop or u can pick regular mode with team and play with their players.....those are my 5 cents hope it helped

one thing i don't like about NBA live 2003 is that u always play in the same arena,that sucks u pick the hawks,or magic,or knicks arena and u only see that floor cover is different,but not the arena itself which sucks.In ID if u want to play against the knicks u will play in MSG and not in some crappy arena ull see how the exit doors and background for arenas are different for every team which makes the game more realistic in my view
PS:i love playing in the sonics and kincks arena

1, I don't think anyone was talking about Live.
2, let's not even try to compare stadiums in NBA 2K3 to ID 2003. Most if not all the stadiums in ID are the same model.

I like NBA2K3 because of the atmosphere. Man it sound and feels like an NBA game. I had ID2002 but after playing NBA2K3 I was hooked.Comment

I've gotten kind of bored with NBA 2k3, mostly because of the feel and animations. I might go to ID 2003 for a bit, but Blockbuster and Holly wood dont have it in yet. Still like NBA 2k3 though.

if you liked id2002 you will like id2003. much improved. i like 2k3 ok, but it grows old quick. id will keep you playing. oreb a little high, but otherwise ai is great. all the presentation of 2k3 doesn't make up for bad ai. you can edit each player individually in id2003 to make them play like real life. teams go to their superstars, you can back down players. ai is the mmost important feature imoComment

ID2003 this year is IMO the game with the best gameplay, BUT no online(not even roster downloads!) and a franshise mode that cant touch 2k3's makes Sega's game the one to get. Now next year.....................
