    Iverson....done?

i watched that Sixers-Mavs game...and i swear...i was totally disgusted. Iverson seriously looks like he is a done player. i hate to say that and yes they been on this road trip. but it's like....terrible it has finally occured to me that Iverson turned himself into a jump shooter. Iverson...a jump shooter????? it doesn't make sense. how can he be a jump shooter when he not even a good shooter? he doesn't not even try to go to the basket anymore. that stopped last year. he used to be the most exciting player in the NBA and all of a sudden, that went down the tubes. i swear if he even tried to pick up a weight and worked more on his game......i wonder. i really do wonder if his body is breaking down faster than we thought.

I know , he really has. He shoots all floating away jumpers. Its the total opposite of what got him to being the player he is.

i mean...i remember when son was dunking on players and what not. he was always slashing to the basket. against the Lakers in the Finals, that's what he did. and like now...it's nonexistent.

I haven't seen that many 76er games this year, but I have been paying attention to their reccord. I thought they were losing because he's the only one doing his part.

He's still a top scorer in the NBA right? Maybe he's scared of getting seriously hurt?

I'll have to pay more attention to this.

I saw a player who knows he has absolutely no help out there. When Shawn Bradley is dominating your entire front line, you've got problems.

Maybe he just doesn't want to pay the physical toll on a team that offers him no reason to do so?

But maybe his size also is causing him to adjust his game after the pounding he's taken.

I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...

                Re: Iverson....done?

hmmmmmm i don't think so. i remember when i posted this up a while ago...when i bought the Iverson dvd and during his first two years...three years...he was dunking with ease! not only that but dunking on people. he had serious hops like 3 years ago. and i know that he went through injuries cuz of slashing into the lane so much but...if that's his game, then he should have done what Michael Jordan did and worked out...add some muscle. Mike did that cuz of the Pistons pounding on him. and did more for the Knicks. i ain't saying to be Michael Jordan but that part of working out is what i would follow. and now since he gonna be 28 soon, his body seems to be breaking down faster than it should be. this man was the most exciting player in basketball, bar none. and like now.....i don't even know. i just can't believe he turned himself into a jump shooter. i never thought i'd see the day.

maybe he needs to get out of Philly and move to a real conference like the West!

lol@iverson done. He was draining his shots like crazy yesterday. He needs help bad and I dont think he will ever get the help he needs with Larry Brown and Billy King running the team. Maybe he should go to Minnesota and join KG who also needs alot of help....

I remember when Iverson would dunk in the lane and things, he did it in college and his first few years in the league. Now he never drives or dunks.

The man drives to the hoop alot. But it seems like this year it's starting to take a toll on his body.He needs help badly. He cannot continue playing like this.Has he gets older he won't be able to drive like he used to.

Yeah, he was 11-19, so he had a good game.

Maybe KG should go to Philly?

this has nothing to do with Iverson getting help. this has solely to do with Iverson himself. i been watching Sixers games of course and on the real...i just don't see it anymore. and also to add, it seems like he not playing with the same heart and intensity either. i mean the Sixers are nice, not horrible.

No offense but this is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Iverson done? Hah! He needs help. Because of the new zone rule, people can cut off Iverson's lanes. Look at the tapes, he is often being covered by all five guys at a time. The sixers need to spread the floor. The team can't shoot and as everybody is covering Iverson, they try to get to the basket and the defense can rotate quick enough.
