Great pickup for the up and coming Cavalier team. We definately needed a solid veteran guard, and Wesley should fill that role quite nicely.

Eddie Baskin, Sasha Pavlovic, and Luke Jackson are all gone...hopefully. Ira Newble as well, but his contract makes it harder.

Eric Snow = David Wesley undersized guards that don't really do anything that well, but just hang around and steal money from the cavs.

David Wesley is not a good shooter anymore.

He is far too oversized to guard most SG's

Dont play him starter minutes because he'll really play like crap over time

He turns the ball over alot trying to dribble to the hole, although not often, because he can't dribble, especially being a guard.

He'll have moments where he hits shots, but the guy is not reliable. Bron will get him alot of open looks that he will shoot brick after brick.

I'm kind of not understanding what the Cavs were going for with this one. I know it sure as hell wasn't veteran leadership because I don't see anything solid enough for this pickup. Maybe because what I'd be expecting from the Cavs isn't what they're doing. What does Wesley bring that's NEW to the Cavs that isn't already there? Not a shot, not defense, not size, not speed....what was this pickup for??
