The Year KG, Vince, Pierce, & Marbury Were All In The Same MCD's HS Game

1995, St. Louis, Kiel Center. I was there, my one time being in that city, much different than where I come from lol. Anyway I remember the game was incredible. Anyone there or watch it? It has to be one of the best if not THE best all time Mcd's HS games. KG, Vince, Stephon, Pierce, Traylor, McCoy, Billups, Jamison, Abdur-Rahim, Fizer(I think) etc. played in the game. I got Albert White, Sam Okey, Kris Clack, Billups, Ryan Robertson, McCoy and Derek Hood's autographs. I remember we sat by McCoy's family, and in front of Derek Hood's family. I remember I think it was Clack and Okey had to have the same jersey on or same # because one of their jerseys was stolen before the game or something like that. Ryan Robertson didn't do crap in the game, and he was a good player but I think he got picked because the game was in St.Louis and he's from there. Anyway, I just thought about that game, and wow so many of the players in that game are now in the league. It's not like that with a lot of the MCD's games now, most of the recent ones IMO have been garbage.

Re: The Year KG, Vince, Pierce, & Marbury Were All In The Same MCD\'s HS Game

i went to the 1991 McD HS game in Springfield, MA. (home of the BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME).

    the players:
    Rick Bruson (every team)
    Chris Webber (Kings)
    Donyell Marshall (Bulls)
    Glenn Robinson (Hawks)
    Jimmy King (Fab5 Michigan)
    Jwann Howard (Denver)
    Jalen Rose (Bulls)
    Ray Jackson (Fab 5 Michigan)
Travis Best (player of the year, Springfield native, Heat)

After Springfield's own Travis Best (Indiana Pacers) hit the game-tying three-pointer for the East with 22 seconds remaining, the West's Chris Webber (Sacramento Kings) slammed home the decisive deuce in a thrilling 108-106 victory. Webber, co-MVP along with the East's Rick Brunson (New York Knicks) scored 28 points (20 points from dunks) and pulled down 12 rebounds. Glenn Robinson (Milwaukee Bucks) added 20 points and 8 rebounds to the winning effort. Brunson's 19 points, 7 boards and 6 assists weren't enough for the losing East team. The game was played in sold-out Civic Arena in Springfield, the birthplace of basketball, as part of the sport's centennial celebration.

there were some others but i can't remeber. but can you believe MICHAEL JORDAN score a record at the time, 30 points and didn't win the MVP. Adrian Branch got it. but as we all know, JORADAN would make him pay for it in college and the NBA...

I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...
