Re: Got an XBOX for Inside Drive
Damn it, you guys keep talking this game up, and it's NEVER available for rent. Six times I've tried--it's never been there once. I've tried NBA Live (aka nba sprint and dunkfest) and NBA 2k3 (not too bad, but not the greatest either). Still looking for a good bball game this year.Maybe one of these times they'll have it--probably be May before I get to try it, lol.

Re: Got an XBOX for Inside Drive
The customization is kind of overwhelming. When I see all of it, I almost think that this is too much too handle. The player faces could use a little work for an XBOX, but other than that, this is the game. I don't even know how NBA 2k3 is compared to this. In my mind 2k3, isn't even better than Live.Comment

Damn it...if only they had updateable rosters! They got everything down - the game rules - but updateable rosters is real important to me (still waiting for Sega's, or are they up yet?).
I'm still gonna buy it though (at 49 bucks canadian it's a freaking bargain!)Comment

Update the rosters yourself. No update provided by Sega or anyone else would be as good as the changes you make yourself!

This game is so deep it's insane. I don't understand half of the stuff yet, because I'm not used to a game being this deep. It's almost scary playing a game this good.

Welcome aboard and I hope you enjoy your ID season
Prepare yourself to be dissapointed at the lack of atmosphere...and then just enjoy it and savour the best AI EVER in an NBA game...by a longggggggg way.
The depth is amazing.
You see the real Philly team this year...Iverson is shooting less and looking to pass a bit more? So...adjust his AI in the game, take him down one notch on 'looks to shoot' and up one in 'looks to pass'...
You see Yao has a greater role in the Rockets offense? So...adjust his "involvement in the offense' AI and the attack will go through him more.
Cat Mobley shoots a bit less this year also...so I took him down one.
You see a PG who NEVER dunks in the real NBA...simply put his AI to never dunks.
The degree of control is LIGHT YEARS ahead of any other game.
In every other game, you can try an do adjustments, but you then restrict a guy Like Kidd from dominating because you wanted to lower Charlie Ward, This game lets you do EACH player INDIVIDUALLY.
You can even adjust a center like Mutumbo to shoot hook shots most of the time...and MJ to shoot fade aways more and drive less.
99% of the player AI is already correct...but anything you feel needs changing is easy.
The individual player AI is beyond cool.
You can adjust guys to shoot more fade away's, less dunks, be involved in the play, touch the ball less on fast breaks...everything.
I have had it a couple of months now and it still surprises me how much depth it has.Comment
