Finally, an intriguing game for the Mavs this week

Dallas has twiddled it's thumbs to a 31-5 record, and all the Mavs talk about is how they blew that 32-point lead in L.A.

Next, they're at Sacremento on Wednesday. It'll be fun to finally see a game with some intrigue. The regular season is getting boring.

They detroyed Atlanta and Boston this week (geez, the Celtics suck), and they slept-walked through a road victory against the Clippers today.

It all comes down to beating the Kings in the playoffs, so Wednesday will be interesting.

Please explain to me how it could possibly get "boring " to the Mavs? They haven't won anything yet, nothing, zip ziltch. Now if the Lakers came back this year and played like this then I would understand how they might get bored..

Kings 102 Mavs 99 Mavs get last shot Inbound too Finley, Webber runs out too double leavin Dirk wide open for tha tie and OT where Mavs shoot em too death
      Mavs Win

But we are still in tha regular season...Kings have experience in tha Play Offs but Webber cant act likah bitch in tha 4th if they are gonnah Beat Dallas...Hell they prolly wont even beat Kobe, and of coarse we seen how much heart tha Mavs had against tha Champs...Either of these teams will Beat LA, Kobe wont let it happen/

Sacramento easily routed Dallas out of the Playoffs last year 4-1, and if they meet again it won't be any different this year. In fact, the King's are a much better team than last year, but then again, so are the Mavericks. But when it comes to the Kings and Mavs, Dallas can't beat the Kings in a seven game series, Sacramento is too good!

yup, it'll definitely be an interesting test for the Mavs. I hope they're up for it, because so far the 31-5 record is nothing more than eye candy.

Dallas slept-walked to a victory over the Clips? I was watching that game and the Clippers were up by like 3 or 4 with 5 minutes to go. Dallas won by 6, not 16.

What I meant was that they played the Clippers like they couldn't wait to play the Kings.

              They always beat the Clips.

It gets boring to the Mavs and the fans because it means nothing until we do it in the playoffs. 60 wins won't mean nothing if we get knocked out in the 2 round again this year!

I just had a funny thought. What if the Lakers somehow manage to be the 8th seed in the playoffs (they'll probably be higher)? If Dallas is #1, which they should be, then you know they'd be very bitter about having to play the Lakers right away. All that hard work all year will go down the drain as they get bounced in the first round. Possibly in 3 measely games!

Lakers vs Mavericks, Mavericks vs Lakers... does it matter? No matter who emerges out of that series would have to play Sacramento. In reality, neither LA or Dallas has what it takes to beat Sacramento in a Playoff series this year. And Sacramento will be the #1 seed by the end of the season.

The Kings have won exactly how many titles? Oh. But they've been to the finals how many times? Oh.

Dallas didn't play well against the Kings in the playoffs, no doubt, but they were still five close games. And Dallas DID dominate Sacramento in the regular season last year, beating the Kings in SacTown both times.

Last year's series means nothing now. It'd be a helluva matchup.

I agree. Every record or streak teams had before, mean nothing now. Teams are different every year, as well as their own outlook on things. The Kings and the Mavs haven't proved anything. In fact, the only team that has are the Lakers. We all know how they are looking now, so, like I said, records and streaks dont mean much.

We should all just stop annoiting who is the champ already and just enjoy the game for what it is, pure entertainment.

well said! it`s too early to tell which team will win the west. i mean really we haven`t even reached the allstar break yet and people are allready trying to predict who`ll win the championship

keep in mind that the games get much tougher after the allstar break so who knows how many games the mavz will win.

this is true. and the mavs do not have a lot of stamina, write now nash, nowitzki, and finley are playing a lot and they do usually get tired easily.

other teams such as the lakers and kings (mainly lakers), are more used to playing a lot and don't get as tired, after playing the more games than any other team for the past couple of years
