Seems to be a cut made due to obligations to other players...
“It was, obviously, an agonizing decision that had to be made,” Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said. “In 23 years I've never been with a team that had this difficult of a decision to make. The good news is we feel like we have some very good players here. The bad news is you hate to let a guy like James White go that has a lot of promise and know is going to be a good player in this league.”Tags: None -

Is this the same guy I remember that could dunk from the free-throw line two-handed? -
Re: Pacers cut James "Flight" White
Man, I remember watching the dunk contest with him in high school I think. I remember he done this type of two handed dunk from the free-throw line EASILY.

Re: Pacers cut James "Flight" White
I think he will be picked up quickly by someone... They just didnt have enough room for him on the Pacers Roster, with all the contracts they have, sf's and SG's...PSN: duFFleBaG_rAn_

Re: Pacers cut James "Flight" White
lol i guess i shouldve expected some of these posts. why didn't i see it, of course its all so clear now:
getting cut = he's not good enough and focused all on being a flashy dunker
It couldn't possibly be not wanting to cut a guy pulling 8mil or a big when you have no depth at PF/C but have depth at SF. Everything is always cut & dry. Thanks dre & mist.Comment

Re: Pacers cut James "Flight" White
Im not sure why you said my name. All I did was reply to someone in jest about ft line dunking and so on.
He obviously didnt cut it with Indiana, no matter what they needed. As of right now he's unemployed and Im sure another team will pick him up.
I guess if I had to make a point it would be that dunking is hardly a factor in making a team.
Indy gave up a couple of picks for this guy if im not mistaken, so he couldn't have been all they thoughtComment
